MSU routs MTU 10-1 in GLI semifinal

DETROIT – Brett Perlini had two goals and an assist and Michigan State beat Michigan Tech 10-1 in a semifinal of the Great Lakes Invitational on Tuesday.

Daultan Leveille and Trevor Nill had a goal and two assists each and Zach Josepher, Dustin Gazley and Matt Crandell had a goal and an assist for the Spartans (13-6-2). Corey Tropp, Zach Golembiewski and Nick Sucharski also scored for Michigan State. Drew Palmisano made 28 saves.

Drew Dobson scored for Michigan Tech (3-15-0). Kevin Genoe stopped three of five shots and Josh Robinson made 17 saves for the Huskies.
