MSU College of Music | BackStage Pass

An evening of chamber music from Mozart and Faure.
First aired 3/22/12

An evening of Mozart and Faure, performed by Suren Bagratuni (cello), Yuri Gandelsman (viola), Elsa Ludewig-Verdehr (clarinet), Deborah Moriarty (piano), Richard Sherman (flute), Dmitri Berlinsky (violin) from the College of Music at MSU.

The episode opens with Dmitri Berlinsky, Deborah Moriarty, Suren Bagratuni and Yuri Gandelsman performing Gabriel Faure's Piano Quartet No. 1 in C Minor, op. 15.

Then, Yuri Gandelsman, Deborah Moriarty, and Elsa Ludewig-Verdehr perform "Kegelstatt," Mozart's Trio for Clarinet, Viola and Pianoin E-flat Major. 

This evening of chamber music concludes beautifully with Mozart's Flute Quartet in D Major, performed by Richard Sherman, Dmitri Berlinsky, Suren Bagratuni and Yuri Gandelsman.
