WKAR's All Things Considered Host, Mark Bashore, weekdays from 4-7 PM.

WKAR is excited to announce some changes that will be hitting your favorite 90.5 WKAR radio station starting Monday, December 19th.

  • Classical Music will begin weekdays starting at 9AM
  • Mark Bashore returns as host of All Things Considered weekdays at 4:00 PM.
  • All Things Considered continues for an additional hour of drivetime, now from 4-7PM.
  • Weekdays, during Morning Edition and All Things Considered you will hear more Capital Region reporting from Brooke Allen, Mark Bashore, and the expanding WKAR News Team.
  • More timely WKAR News and Current State features online and in the NPR One app.
  • Current State moves to a new day and time featuring a weekly deep dive into the top news and issues, arts and attitudes shaping life in the Capital Region; Saturday at 11AM starting January 7.
