- Classical music begins at 9 a.m. weekday mornings, so music lovers can get an earlier start to their day.
- The Metropolitan Opera is back (actually, since Dec. 3), Saturday afternoons at 1 p.m.
- Mark Bashore returns as your WKAR host for All Things Considered weekdays at 4 p.m.
- All Things Considered continues for an additional hour of drive time, now 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Weekdays during Morning Edition and All Things Considered, you'll hear more Capital Region reporting from Brooke Allen, Mark, Brad Walker and our expanding WKAR News team
- You'll find timely WKAR News and Current State features online and in the NPR One app
- Current State moves to a new day and time, featuring a weekly deep dive into top news and issues, arts and attitudes shaping life in the Capital Region; Saturdays at 11 a.m. beginning Jan. 7
