MADD says someone is injured or killed in a drunk driving crash every two minutes.

Every day it seems like we hear of somebody being injured, sometimes fatally, in a drunk driving crash. But strides are being made to make a difference on the roads and off. Current State's Brooke Allen speaks to the Executive State Director for MADD Michigan, Tyler MacEachran.

According to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), two out of three Americans will be involved in a drunk driving crash in their lifetimes. Still, MADD says some strides are being made in Michigan.

Current State’s Brooke Allen talks with Tyler MacEachran, the Michigan State Executive Director for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. He says people in Michigan are starting to pay more attention to the deadly combination of drinking and driving.

Brooke Allen served as local producer and host for Morning Edition, from June 2016-March 2018.
