MI Senate passes smoking ban

LANSING, MI –
The state Senate has adopted a statewide ban on smoking in all Michigan workplaces except for trucks, home offices, tobacco shops, cigar bars and Detroit's casinos. The Senate rejected a total ban on workplace smoking. The House is expected to concur with the Senate version and send it to Governor Granholm.
