Meridian officials await water test results

By Mark Bashore, WKAR Radio

OKEMOS, MI –
Meridian Township officials say they could learn more Thursday evening about the safety of township water. That's when they could get the results of a second safety test required by the state. For now, Okemos residents south of Kinawa and Bennett roads and into Aleidon Township are still advised to boil water used for cooking and drinking for five minutes before use. An error during routine testing yesterday led to the precaution.
