LANSING, MI – Officials with the state Department of Community Health say 16 people in Michigan have died from the H1N1 flu virussince the outbreak began two months ago. Health officials say most of those who died also suffered from underlying health conditions.
Nearly 60,000 cases of flu-like illness have been reported. Close to 400 people have been hospitalized.
