Lions reach deal with No. 2 pick Suh

By AP

DETROIT – The Detroit Lions' wait to get defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh signed and on the field is almost over.

A person familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press that Suh and the Lions agreed to terms on a five-year contract worth $40 million guaranteed and as much as $68 million. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the talks
were confidential and said both sides were working on the language of the deal Tuesday night.

Suh is the former Nebraska defensive lineman who was the second overall pick in April's draft.
