Lansing Symphony starts off season with "Espana" concert

EAST LANSING, MI – The Lansing Symphony Orchestra begins its new season of concerts Saturday night at Wharton Center. Conductor Timothy Muffitt came to the WKAR studios recently to talk about the music on the program. The concert starts with a French take on the music of Spain--"Espana" by Emmanuel Chabrier.

WKAR's Jody Knol will host the Preview conversation before the concert Saturday. Guests will be pianist Christopher O'Riley, along with the principal bass of the LSO, Ed Fedewa. The PreView begins at 7:15 in the Grand Tier Lounge. The concert starts at 8.
