LANSING, MI –
Lansing officials say the new City Market will open for business on December 31.
That's a month later than originally planned. According to a report on the Lansing State Journal website, officials say the extension lessens disruptions for vendors during one of their busiest periods. They also say a post-Christmas lull will enable planners to fine tune their opening. The report also says that the owners of Williamston's Riverhouse Inn have signed an agreement to open a new restaurant at the market.
