Lansing, MI – Lansing, MI -- The Lansing City Council last night approved the city budget for the fiscal year that starts July 1st.
City officials balanced the $117 million budget by keeping 40 vacant jobs unfilled, raising ambulance fees and improving enforcement of vehicle weight limits.
The budget also includes spending $6 million on a new parking ramp adjacent to the Lansing Center downtown.
