EAST LANSING, MI – The Creole Gallery in Old Town Lansing is hosting a concert Friday night that is a return of sorts for two people. One of them is Meegan Holland, the longtime partner of the late Robert Busby who ran the Creole until 2007. After a hiatus, Holland has started booking some music at the venue again. The first person she booked was jazz musician Jeff Haas, who played at the Creole not long before Busby's death. What Holland didn't know before she made the call was that Haas has written a piece inspired by Busby. WKAR's Melissa Ingells spoke with Haas about the concert.
