Ingham Sheriff's job: a family affair?

Gene Wrigglesworth has worn a policeman’s badge for almost 50 years. For more than half that time, he’s served as the Ingham County Sheriff. But in 2016, an era in the county’s history will come to an end. This week, he announced that he will not seek re-election.His announcement was quickly followed by another made by his son, East Lansing Police Lieutenant Detective Scott Wrigglesworth. He will run for the job being vacated by his father.

Current State talks with Gene and Scott Wrigglesworth about their joint announcement and the future of the Ingham County Sheriff's office.
