Grand Valley State University hikes tuition 5.3%

ALLENDALE, MI – Tuition will increase 5.3% next year for Michigan students entering Grand Valley State University.

The university's Board of Trustees voted Monday to set in-state first-year tuition and fees for the 2009-2010 academic year of $4,315 per semester, or $8,630 for the year.

That's an extra $434 over the Allendale-based university's tuition of $8,196 last year.
