LANSING, MI –

Governor Granholm's name is finding its way to the top of lists of people speculating who could replace U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens.

AUDIO:
Granholm made speculative lists around this time last year when Justice David Souter announced his retirement plans. That seat was filled by Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

Now Governor Granholm's name is being mentioned again, even in such places as on Comedy Central's Colbert Report, where she made Steven Colbert's list.

"There is Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm. She could pose a problem for the Republicans, because she's an attractive blonde. They might mistake her as a Fox News anchor."

Granholm has said she does not expect to be named to the Supreme Court.
