While visiting East Lansing, Georgia congressman John Lewis said he is not surprised about the money laundering and conspiracy charges against Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his deputy Rick Gates.

Rep. John Lewis (D-Georgia) told WKAR he expects more indictments from Prosecutor Robert Mueller.

“Some of us have been saying for some time, follow the money," said Rep. Lewis.

"I’m not surprised. The special prosecutor is a reliable, dependable man. He’ll get to the bottom of it."

"I truly believe more [indictments] will becoming. I believe there was a deliberate, systematic effort on the part of some people associated with the campaign to get assisted help from the Russians."

Rep. Lewis spoke last night at Michigan State University's Kellogg Center in East Lansing about his experiences in the civil rights movement.

He is the guest of former Governor James Blanchard’s public lecture forum at MSU.
