EAST LANSING, MI – When Sam Singh left the East Lansing mayor's office, he really left. Singh spent 17 months traveling the world, visiting places he'd always wanted to go.

It wasn't all fun and games; along the way, he worked on a number of volunteer projects. In all, Singh visited 46 countries...and he lost 40 pounds. He's back now, and WKAR's Scott Pohl spoke with him about the physical toll of all that travel.
