FBI: Last of 9 suspects in plot caught in Mich.

By AP

WHEATLAND TOWNSHIP, MI – The FBI says the last of nine people charged with plotting to kill police has been apprehended after a search in rural Michigan.

Andrew Arena, head of the FBI's field office in Detroit, says Joshua Matthew Stone surrendered about 8 p.m. Monday at a home in Hillsdale County about 30 miles from the site of weekend raid.

Arena said Stone was in a house with five adults and a child. Arena says they all were there willingly and weren't being held hostage.

Stone was the only suspect not arrested in the raids. Federal prosecutors say the suspects are tied to the Michigan-based Christian militia group Hutaree.
