Join us for an An Evening at WKAR, where you can enjoy an hour-long big-screen preview of the upcoming television series Call the Midwife. This eight-part British drama follows Jenny Lee, a young woman from the wealthy English countryside who is thrust into the slums of London’s East End as a midwife. Set in the years after World War II, “Call the Midwife” attracted an audience even larger than that of “Downton Abbey” when it first premiered in the UK.
Guests for the evening will also enjoy light refreshments and the opportunity to win program-related door prizes!
