EL council, public to revisit City Center plans

By Mark Bashore, WKAR

EAST LANSING, MI –

East Lansing officials will hear the public's thoughts Tuesday night on the most recent version of the City Center Two project. In February, the city's planning commission approved an amended site plan for Strathmore Development's $112-million downtown development. The new plan allows four floors of one building to be used for office space instead of residential. East Lansing City Councilman Kevin Beard says developer Scott Chappelle will need to finalize financing details before the project gets final approval. Tonight's city council meeting begins at 7:30.
