LANSING, MI –
The Lansing City Council will not be voting Monday on proposed changes to a development deal it first turned down two weeks ago. The council refused to give developer Pat Gillespie additional brownfield redevelopment grants and other tax incentives for his proposed Marketplace project. Marketplace is planned for the corner of Shiawassee and Cedar streets where the old Lansing City Market was. The deal has created more controversy than construction. Rob South spoke with Melissa Ingells.
