Dantonio: I'll coach at Michigan on Saturday

EAST LANSING, MI –

Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio says he expects to be at this weekend's game at Michigan as he recovers from a mild heart attack and subsequent blood clot in his leg.

Dantonio said during a news conference today that he wasn't about to miss this rivalry game, and indicated he'll probably be in a box above the field Saturday. That was his plan last weekend against Wisconsin, but he was hospitalized Thursday because of the blood clot.

Dantonio has missed No. 17 Michigan State's last two games following his Sept. 19 heart attack.

The Spartans (5-0, 1-0 Big Ten) and 18th-ranked Wolverines (5-0, 1-0) are both unbeaten. Michigan State is trying for its third straight victory in the series.
