Kyrie Irving; Kevin Durant; Athletes Today; Bob Apisa; MSU-Notre Dame Football; High School Football; Eric "Doc" Love; Otis Wiley.

It's the last "Current Sports with Al Martin" show of the week, but it should count for two. Not one, not two, but three guests grace the airwaves throughout the hour. Before getting to any of them, however, Al takes on the prima donna NBA news of the week. Al first addresses the Kyrie Irving interview in which he revealed why he didn't tell former teammate LeBron James that he was leaving, and then engineer Isaac Constans expounds upon the Kevin Durant drama. What TV show might the Finals MVP be a good fit for? The first guest of the day, Bob Apisa retells the legacy of the MSU-Notre Dame rivalry from his time as a fullback on the championship Spartan football rosters. Apisa remembers the 10-10 draw, and gives a quite recent example of how that game has not been forgotten by fans. Before the Spartans take the field against the Fighting Irish, high school football teams from around the area will cross the halfway point mark of the season. Eric "Doc" Love, commentator for The Game 730AM, hops from game to game in the local scene. And even though he can't choose all his favorites, Doc deals out his favorite players, teams and tables so far. Ending the show, former MSU safety and broadcaster Otis Wiley reinvigorates the modern-day Michigan State-Notre Dame rivalry. He expresses why he thinks the Spartans have a chance and daydreams of his fondest memories in this storied rivalry.
