Battle of the Sexes; Draymond Green Case; Magic Johnson; Athletes Social Media; Allen Gant; Michigan Football.

It's exactly 44 years later, and the "Battle of  the Sexes" is still being discussed on "Current Sports with Al Martin." With the publishing of a new movie trailer surrounding the event, Al  and engineer Isaac Constans pick away at the new motion picture and state the historical importance of the match between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King. Then, Al tracks back to a trivial case revolving around a dispute between two former Spartan athletes, Draymond Green and Jermaine Edmondson. The case is given fresh life by the subpoena sent to Michigan State basketball legend, Earvin "Magic" Johnson. Despite his business savvy, Johnson was summoned for a Tweet he posted after speaking to Green, who now plays for the Golden State Warriors, and Al traces how one social media post can bring about legal complications. Then, former University of Michigan linebacker Allen Gant comes back to the show to discuss yet another puzzling week for the Wolverines. Gant, a sportscaster in Ohio, also goes through his Michigan days and tries to correct misconceptions about his former coach, Brady Hoke. Ending the show, Al and Isaac laugh at the latest spate of NBA drama.
