On today's "Current Sports with Al Martin" the rivalry moves off the court, at least in the eyes of one fan base. Michigan State men's basketball coach Tom Izzo maybe could have chosen his words better, as a joke about airplanes has drawn the ire of some Michigan fans in relation to the scare that the basketball team faced before the Big Ten Tournament. Neither Al nor engineer Isaac Constans see the big deal, although they admit that in retrospect, Izzo might not want to retell the joke. But for the Wolverines, words are the least of the school's worries. Tonight, the basketball team takes on Oregon to ignite the Sweet Sixteen. Al and Isaac present their picks for the game, and explain how a seven seed has gotten so far. Meanwhile, is MSU football coach Mark Dantonio being a little bit too withdrawn with his words? Pro Day was closed off to media members and fans alike amid the sexual assault allegations swirling around the team, and it is already having an impact on the program's support structure. Hear more about that. 'Throwback Thursday' returns as is customary, and considering the stepping down of Tom Anastos, Al winds the clock back to his interview with assistant coach Tom Newton to round things out.
