EAST LANSING, MI – After a week-long residency at Michigan State University, award-winning composer John Corigliano will lead a concert of MSU ensembles at Wharton Center on Saturday.

Corigliano has been working with students and faculty this week in seminars, rehearsals and other sessions. He'll give a preview lecture at 7:15 before the concert begins.

WKAR's Melissa Ingells spoke with him by phone recently about what's on the concert program, and what he's been doing lately. She first asked him about what kind of music he'd like to be working on right now.
