Voters head to the polls Tuesday– meaning the 2014 campaign season is coming to a close.

Christie says Snyder has been a cheerleader for Michigan on a national level.

“Rick Snyder’s proud of Michigan,” he says.  “And when he is, he’s talking about you, the people of Michigan that he’s proud of.”

“The question is who his policies are working for,” he says.  “They’re not working for most Michiganders.”

Democratic nominee for governor Mark Schauer is telling people in the final hours of his campaign. Schauer’s support seems to have gradually climbed over the last few months. Recent polls suggest the governor’s race is very close.
