German artist Jochen Gerz is producing a photographic exhibit for MSU’s new Broad Art Museum, and you can be part of it. It’s called “The Gift: Lansing, Michigan 2012.”

Photographers will take portraits of visitors for the display. When taken down, those who posed will receive a photo of one of the other participants.

Gerz says that portrait will be on loan from the museum.

You can pose for the exhibit today and tomorrow between noon and 3 p.m. each day, at the former Barnes and Noble bookstore in East Lansing.

More portraits will be taken during the Broad Museum grand opening festivities this weekend.
