Lansing mayor Virg Bernero says he will run for another term in office this year.
If elected, it would be his third four-year term.
Bernero made the announcement this morning at a breakfast event previewing next week's State of the City address.
The filing deadline to run for mayor is May 14. The election will be held November 5.
