Arrest Made In I-96 Shootings

An arrest has been made in connection with a string of shootings in four counties along I-96.

Police took a 43-year-old man from Wixom into custody last night.

A task force was formed on October 19th to investigate the shootings, and more than 2,800 tips were received.

Charges could be filed against the man in custody as early as Wednesday.

A total of 24 shootings have been reported to police. There was only one injury, a motorist who was struck in the buttock by a bullet.
