Analysts see signs of healthy MI economy in 2016

Analysts are forecasting Michigan’s six-year economic upswing will continue in 2016, but not as noticeably as in recent years. Matt Dolan of the Detroit Free Press spoke with those analysts and shares some details.

What does 2016 hold for Michigan’s economy? According to a host of experts, it mainly promises growth and improvement. That was the takeaway for Detroit Free Press reporter Matt Dolan when he took the pulse of a number of those experts recently.

That encouraging assessment means all the more considering the state trails the nation in several economic indicators.
