All Clear given at Lansing City Hall

Lansing, MI – Lansing police have cancelled the evacuation of Lansing City Hall after a search of the building discovered no evidence of an explosive device. Police responded to an anonymous phone call around 9 a.m. indicating a bomb was in the building on Michigan Avenue. Employees were evacuated to the Lansing Center as a precaution. After an extensive search turned up no evidence of a device, the all clear was given just after 11 a.m.
