A2SO Encore

Miss it last Saturday?  Tune in this weekend.  Heard it in person?  Hear it again!

90.5 Classical brings you an encore presentation of WKAR's first live broadcast of the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra from the Michigan Theater.  The special repeat broadcast will air this Saturday, April 19th at noon.  A2SO music director Arie Lipsky leads the all-Brahms concert from the orchestra's 2013-14 season finale.  The program includes Brahms Symphony No. 1, the Double Concerto for violin and cello, Academic Festival Overture and U of M composition professor Bright Sheng's Black Swan, an arrangement of one of the piano Intermezzi.
