The governor is getting impatient with budget talks, who wins if the government is shut down, and more gaming to solve the budget deficit. The guest is Rep. Mike Simpson.
Elected in 2006, Rep. Mike Simpson is a Democrat in the Michigan House. He chairs the House Agriculture Committee and is on the front lines of trying to add another lottery game to save race tracks and reduce the state deficit. Simpson worked in the freight and restaurant industries before entering state government. He is a member of the Army Reserves.
