Hot topics this week: $304 million in state budget cuts and legislation to takeover failing schools. The guest is Mike Flanagan.

State School Superintendent Mike Flanagan is coming up on his fourth anniversary in that post. One of his major assignments as superintendent is helping failing schools. Flanagan has served as executive director of the School Superintendents Association and spent seven years as superintendent of the Farmington schools system.

Susan Demas, Stephanie Cepak and Rick Pluta join senior capitol correspondent Tim Skubick.
