The Cobo deal is scrubbed by the Detroit city council and Michigan's legislative 'Big Four' head to D.C. to help the Big Three automakers. The guest is Rep. Mark Meadows (D), who is working on long term policy issues for House Democrats.

Representative Mark Meadows is a Democrat from East Lansing, now in his second term in the Michigan House. He chairs the House Judiciary Panel, and was recently tapped by the House speaker to head a long-term policy committee. Meadows is a former assistant attorney general and former mayor of East Lansing. He is a graduate of Western Michigan and holds a law degree from the MSU College of Law.

Correspondents Rick Pluta, Stephanie Cepak and Bill Ballenger join senior capitol correspondent Tim Skubick.
