Stimulus dollars coming to Michigan, and new candidates for governor and attorney general. The guest is state budget director Bob Emerson, here to talk budget cuts and federal stimulus money.
Bob Emerson is Governor Granholm's budget director. He is a former House member where he served for 18 years and was Minority leader in the state Senate where he served for eight years before joining the Granholm administration. Emerson is pushing the governor's budget cuts and is helping to decide where the federal stimulus money will go. He is also working with Lt. Gov. John Cherry to get him elected governor in 2010.
