Medical marijuana rules are disputed, the state faces more red ink in the new year, and two new congressmen are sworn in. The guest is Justice Robert Young, Jr. Michigan Supreme Court Justice Robert Young Jr. joined the high court in 1999 and won re-election in 2002. Prior to that, he served on the State Appeals Court starting in 1995. He is a graduate of Harvard and earned his law degree there in 1977. He served as general counsel for AAA of Michigan before becoming a judge. Young was part of a four-member GOP majority which has now been broken by the defeat of former Chief Justice Cliff Taylor last November.
