The governor issues an executive order to cut state spending, and the state school superintendent is sending in a financial manager to eliminate the Detroit school district's deficit. The guest is Representative-elect Jimmy Womack, who currently sits on the Detroit School Board.
Jimmy Womack was recently elected to the Michigan House and takes office in January. The representative-elect is a radio talk show host, ordained minister and a member of the embattled Detroit School Board. Womack is active in the Democratic party and takes over the seat now held by term-limited Representative Virgil Smith.
With Dawson Bell, Jack Spencer and Bill Ballenger.
