University tuition is on the incline and the NAACP brings in the presidential hopefuls, minus the major GOP candidates. The guest is out-going state lottery czar Gary Peters (D), here to talk about making you a millionaire and about running for Congress.
Gary Peters served eight years in the Michigan Senate as a Democrat from Oakland County. He ran unsuccessfully for governor and state attorney general but ended up in the Granholm administration, first as overseer of state retirement investments and, since 2003, as lottery czar. Peters is leaving that post to teach at CMU and perhaps run for Congress next year against incumbent Joe Knollenberg.
With Chris Christoff, Vickie Thomas and Peter Luke.
