The finishing touches on a new business tax, and the governor tells lawmakers to cancel vacation. The guest is former lawmaker Leon Drolet (R), leading a recall movement aimed at lawmakers who might vote yes on a tax increase.
Former state Representative Leon Drolet was term-limited out of the legislature last year, but remains in politics on two fronts -- he is a Macomb County commissioner and the self-appointed leader of a recall movement aimed at lawmakers who might vote yes on a tax increase. Drolet was a legislative assistant and attended Oakland University. He was also recently appointed to an arm of the National Civil Rights Commission.
With Chris Christoff, Rick Pluta and Jack Spencer.
