The Michigan Democratic delegation will be seated with full voting rights in Denver, the part-time legislature drive is in trouble, and a lawmaker turns comedian. The guest is Leon Drolet (R), leader of the anti-tax recall effort in Michigan and now under fire for allegedly breaking the law.
Leon Drolet served three terms in the Michigan House before being term-limited out of office. From there he was elected to the Macomb County Board of Commissioners. More recently he has been part of an effort to recall lawmakers who supported a tax increase. Now he is facing possible criminal charges, accused of breaking the law by collecting illegal petition signatures.
Senior capitol correspondent Tim Skubick is joined by panelists Rick Pluta, Kathy Barks Hoffman, and Jack Spencer.
