Barack Obama comes to Michigan, the ban on smoking remains a question mark, and continued attempts to draw the governor into the Kwame Kilpatrick investigation. The guest is Michigan Democratic party chair Mark Brewer.

State Democratic party chair Mark Brewer has been involved in party politics for over 25 years, starting in 1977 as a summer intern with then-Congressman David Bonior. Brewer was first elected party chair in 1995 and in 2003 was elected president of the Association of State Democratic Party Chairs. He is a graduate of Harvard and earned his law degree from Stanford. He was a private attorney before resigning to work for the state party.
