The Michigan Senate says yes to the ban on smoking in the workplace. The guest is Flint mayor and potential gubernatorial candidate Don Williamson (D).

Don Williamson is a Democrat and was first elected to be mayor of Flint after the previous mayor was recalled from office in 2003. Williamson was then elected to a full term in 2007. He's sparked some controversies, as he spent $460,000 of his own money to run, was opposed by the governor (who favored someone else for mayor), and perturbed some top Democrats when he and his wife contributed to George W. Bush's presidential campaign. Williamson now says he is running for the Democratic nomination for governor.

Kyle Melinn, Peter Luke, and Chris Christoff join senior capitol correspondent Tim Skubick.
