MSU Prof Advises Obama Administration
As it grapples with a daunting financial crisis, the newly minted Obama administration has the ear of one Michigan State University Economics professor. Dr. Lisa Cook recently shared her recommendations regarding U.S. policy toward the World Bank and the Treasury Department’s “International Affairs Department.” Each of those agencies invests tens of billions of dollars yearly in the developing world. Dr. Cook was not free to share details of her input, but WKAR’s Mark Bashore spoke with her to learn more about her assignment.
