Election 2008: Democrats Aim To Unseat Chief Justice Taylor

In the closing days of the election campaign, Democrats have set their sights on unseating the Republican chief justice of the state Supreme Court.

Just this week, the party has started airing TV spots attacking Chief Justice Cliff Taylor.

If the Democrats can defeat Taylor, it would help break up a conservative voting bloc on the state's highest court.

Michigan Public Radio's Rick Pluta reports.
