Michigan Author Writes Prequel To "Romeo And Juliet"
Ann Arbor native David Blixt is starring in the Michigan Shakespeare Festival's production of "MacBeth," which opens tonight in Jackson.

Blixt is also an author. His first book, "The Master of Verona," from St. Martin's Press, will be published next week.

In the book, he explores what he imagines might have been the origin of the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets in "Romeo and Juliet."

WKAR's Scott Pohl spoke with him.
