Producers Circle Members Enjoy Event at BoarsHead
Twenty-three members of WKAR’s Producers Circle attended a special performance of “Forbidden Broadway” at BoarsHead Theatre in downtown Lansing on Thursday, March 26.
In addition to enjoying the spoof of Broadway musicals, they were also treated to a reception of appetizers prior to the performance and dessert and coffee at intermission.
The free event was designed to recognize members of this donor group, which includes 66 television members and 106 radio members. Producers Circle donors make a gift of $500 or more annually.
“It was a lovely evening with a small and intimate group of people. We wanted an opportunity to meet our donors and to say thanks.” Jill Westmoreland-Ayers, Director of Annual Giving. “It was delightful to see our Producers Circle members and chat with them in person, while expressing appreciation for their support.”
