WKAR Public Media is seeking a passionate and skilled Motion Graphics Artist to join our award-winning creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic group of producers and editors on evolving our graphics packaging and original animations. The ideal candidate will be a strong storyteller with a proven track record of making creative short form video content and visually dynamic and compelling graphics.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience creating motion graphics and animation; shooting and editing a major plus
- A strong portfolio of video or multi-media work with national credits
- Expertise and a passion for video, animation, and interactive software, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator etc
- Strong understanding of animation principles, timing & storytelling
- Must have a strong sense of design, typography and layout
- Ability to multi-task and execute under tight deadlines
- Must be able to take direction and feedback
